Would definitely go back on our next trip to Matemwe. This is surely the best small hotel, very attentive staff, impeccable rooms. The location is tranquil and beautiful, easy to find convenient snorkeling excursions to Mnemba coral reef. And it's nestled in a beautiful building adjacent to the turquise oceanside and nearby supermarket. The property provided an excellent customer service during our trip.

The restaurant was small for the breakfast, I tried delicious dishes. Private bathroom was spotlessly clean. The location in a very green area was perfect and there were a supermarket and stores nearby. The pool was very clean and I had good drinks in the beach bar.

Good location, nice staff, very inexpensive and friendly tour to Mnembe Atoll. Where we had great snorkeling experiences and dolphin encounters. Delicious food. The catch of the day in particular was super good.
The bed is sufficient for someone who is about 2 m long only diagonally.

The breakfast was very tasty and also the dinner. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The location directly at the beautiful sandstone was perfect.
The bathroom was always flooded after showering and the air conditioning was loud and lit. The beach was too lonely for us.

The Seles Boutique Hotel Matemwe is a hidden gem directly on the beach of Matemwe. The location couldn't be more perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel offers basic amenities with rooms that have private bathrooms and balconies, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful views. The attention to detail in the rooms, including the open toilet concept, adds a unique touch to the overall experience. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel is delightful, with really nice toast and a selection of fresh fruits to start your day on a high note.
The only minor improvement would be to ensure that the hotel maintains its promise of being an adults-only retreat, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

The beach was stunning and it was great to have the rooms so close to the water. The food was fresh and tasty, with great cocktails and happy hour was a nice bonus. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there was even a resident furry friend who provided extra security. The atmosphere was enjoyable and there was even a karaoke night. a beautiful location with good food and pleasant staff.
There were some downsides to the location, as there wasn't much to do in the surrounding area other than diving and long walks on the beach. the water was not very inviting for swimming due to the presence of weeds.
